Beadie Bug Play Birdie Bird Nest

Birds use their sharp beaks to weave fibres together to form a nest.  They use their own saliva, mud and spider webs to hold the walls of the nest together; which turns a collection of foraged loose materials into a structurally sound home.

A Beadie Bird Nest is made from PLA, which is a plant-based bioplastic derived from renewable resources, such as corn starch, tapioca root or sugarcane.  They are FOOD SAFE but please HAND WASH before and after use.  Do not leave your nest immersed in liquids for long periods or they may warp.  Nests can withstand coloured fizz and washable paints - please note though that bioplastic is NOT hydrophobic and may soak up some colours.  Please DO NOT put your nest in the dishwasher.  Exposure to extreme heat (in a dishwasher or direct sun) will damage the natural materials they are made from and shorten their lifespan.  Please do not throw or drop your nest or you may break the 'twigs' off.

Your Bioplastic Bird Nest can be used for lifecycle learning, chook eggs, Easter eggs, nature ice eggs and fizzy eggs.

Inclusion: 1 x Bioplastic Beadie Bird Nest

These products are 3d printed; which lays filament down in layers.  The process differs to injection-moulding traditional plastics and does not produce a completely smooth finish.

RECOMMENDED AGE 5 PLUS.  We do not recommend for babies or toddlers.  This product is designed to look and feel realistic and as such has a spikey feel to the outside.  It is flat on the bottom though, for safe handling.  Handle with care.  Always use under adult supervision.  NOT to be used as a teething or chew toy.

Please note for all our wooden toys

As a natural material, wood possesses diverse markings that appear in each of our products, They frequently display growth rings, knots and colour spots, which are not considered defects but rather markers of its natural origin. These characteristics lend a unique touch to each individual toy, adorned with distinct marks gifted by nature. These unique variations are testament to the quality, not defect.
